ABOUT THE ARTIST

DSC06736-1 (2).jpg

Lauren has been drawing out her thoughts and experiences since she could hold a crayon. Her imagination expresses itself in colourful fantasies of story telling, conveying the folds of life's fabric and the complicated experience that is to be human by detaching from the human form. When one sees the human form, judgement and perceptions cloud the viewer's experience, so by using creatures and fauna, her illustrations can communicate one's experiences as a story rather than as an identity of being.
